Correct Refine and Shine detail.

A trip over to Amari Supercars GB saw this Porsche 996 Turbo in need of corrective work. This car was already sold but with the service Amari offers, he wanted it perfect for the customers collection a few days after the detail. So the car was booked in for external corrective work to be carried out on site at Amari Supercars HQ.

As the car had already been prepared by the valeters, the car had all ready been cleaned thoroughly. There was still a very slight roughness to the paint, so it was jetted off and clayed outside before it was bought in ready for the machine stages. It was then prepared for this, taped edges and rubber parts so nothing could be caught…

Defects in the paint…

Polishing pad with medium level abrasive compound proved to be most effective after tests with various pad polish combinations.

Reflections after final finishing polish stage…

Once the finishing stage was completed, the car was then wiped down with an IP solution to remove and polish residue off the paint and glass. This was then followed by a layer of dodo juice supernatural wax. Left to cure…

Whilst the supernatural wax was curing, the engine bay was dressed…

Finished article ready for the customer to collect.
