Brand New Audi A4 Avant.

Gtechniq New Car Detail using the all new G-Techniq EXO.

Along with his newly purchased GTR, the customer decided on a more economical company car. So he decided on a brand new 2012 Audi A4 Avant TDi in White. Having chatted to the customer about the damage dealer valeters can do to a brand new car, the salesman was under strict instruction that the car only be PDI’d and that was all. No one was to touch the car. So it arrived, dirty, stickered up, chalk markings but most important SWIRL AND DEFECT FREE!

Having inspected the car the only main thing wrong with the condition was some sort of metal fall out on the top of the rear bumper which had started to rust. Simple solution which came in the form of IronX.

As it arrived…
General dirt from being parked at shipping ports…

Sticker residue

Protective stickers…

Chalk markings…

On to the deep cleanse stages…

Rinsed and brought inside the car had to be completely dry, no moisture caught in the mirrors, handles etc, as the car was to be coated in the all new G-Techniq EXO. This needs perfect conditions to be applied and also after as no moisture can touch EXO for 48 hours after to allow curing. So the car was flooded with water rid water dots/beading leaving less panel surface water. The remaining water was then patted off leaving crevices to be worked over by compressed air. Time taken to fully dry was 2 hours.

Grills proving the most difficult to completely dry..

Resulting in them being removed so that behind where they sit can be fully dried too.

The customer also wanted the half leather half fabric seats protected so I1 and Leather guard were used to coat the seats…

Being completely defect free the car didn’t need any machine time, only to be IPA’d down to make certain nothing was on the paint/plastic/wheels before EXO was applied.

Door shuts completely cleaned along with removing all excess grease from around the hinges.

Time for EXO…

The results..

Glory shot…

G-techniq details are also backed up with their 5 year Warranty.
