The Heart Detail. (Engine Bay)
- Remove any plastic engine covers or loose items for separate cleaning
- Cover all ‘at risk’ areas, such as connectors etc
- Engine bay to be soaked in G101 cleaner
- Spray off using no pressure
- Spray down each individual section with Degreasers and G101 as you work on it
- All parts of the engine bay to be worked over with various brushes and equipment
- With the car elevated, the underside of the engine is accessible for a deep cleanse
- Once worked one, spray the engine down with no pressure
- Soak up any water traps
- Pad dry all accessible areas
- Engine bay painted areas to be layered with more durable finishing products
- Engine bay plastics dressed with durable matt/satin finish products
- Metal parts to be cleaned for polished with various metal polishes
- Once complete, foam and wash entire car and dry
Time required – 5-6 hours.
